[Judging Procedures]

・Competitions are divided into groups by age and gender.

・The competition consists of a preliminary round, a final round, and a grand final round, which will all take place on site.

1)Qualifying Round

・The contestant will use the specified drum audio and their own choreography.

・The top-scoring contestant in the qualifying round will move on to the final round.

・In the event that there is a limited number of participants in a given category, this round will not serve as an elimination round.

2)Final Round

・The contestants will dance to a live performance of our house drummer. (for approximately 90 seconds).

・The female and male top six scoring in the combined score from the qualifying round and final round will move on the grand final round.

3)Grand Final

・The contestants will dance to a live performance of our house drummer. (for approximately 120 seconds).

[Award]

・The ranking in categories will be decided by the combined score from the qualifying round and final round.

・The grand prize winners (the female and male top-scoring contestant) will be decided by the combined score from the qualifying round, final round and grand final.

・After sending in your completed application and fees, you will receive an email indicating that your entry has been accepted.

・Following the application processing, should a contestant decide to withdraw from competition, the contestant’s entry fee and tickets fee will be forfeited.

【Female Costuming】

・Contestants must wear a headdress.

・Contestants must wear a brassiere (with ties on the back) or bustier above the waist.

・Contestants must wear a knee-length pareo around the waist tied at the hip (on either the left or right side). Rollup ties are not permitted.

・Contestants may not wear hip adornments (like hip belts) or carry handheld items (like iʻi).

・Contestants must wear underwear.

【Male Costuming】

・Contestants must wear a headdress.

・Contestants must be bear-chested, and it is advised that they wear a pareo in the tihere style.

・Contestants are advised not wear adornments below the knees that may obscure foot movements. They may be requested to remove them.

・Contestants may not wear hip adornments (like hip belts) or carry handheld items (like iʻi).

・Contestants must wear underwear.
